A beautifully detailed 30's/40's dress with matching top. Both pieces are gold/beige in colour, decorated with black flowers.
 
The gold thread glistens in the light. The top has a cross bust pleated detail, and is fastened by hook and eye. The simple "shirt dress" style of the dress is countered by the lovely vibrant fabric. The dress has a zipper on the side and has a satin lining.
