Can even be used as a throw or bed spread. 19th century Turkish Ottoman Empire metallic embroidery cloth. Would be ideal for large halls and high walls. A wonderful piece for an interior design artists. Depicting Turkish men riding on their horses or gathering for tea or a smoke. It is all hand embroidery, woven and made of metallic threads on linen velvet and silks in shades of gold, cooper, creams, browns and black. The back is lined with raw natural color silk and leather around the border area. On the four corner tips there are tassels.
