Early 19th Century Copper Urn. Hammered Copper Water Storage vessel or Pot. The hand worked details on the copper along with its beautiful patina give this vessel its unique appeal. Entirely in SOLID hammered copper with beads design and half eared handle.
 
This antique, Indian copper water storage vessel is crafted with a heavy ringed base, fluted brass rim with a large, heavy half ring handle. No visible marking. Great piece for interior decoration. I say often the pictures cannot compare to the real item.
 
It is so beautiful, large , solid and has a perfect perfect patina. Not rusted at all on the outside and some oxidation on the iside which is to be expected. These traditional water storage pots make impressive planters or decorative vessels. DATE c. 1800.
