This Beautiful pierce, carved, and polished by hand in or around the 1920s. The beautiful translucent Jade plaque has been carved and pierced in a floral motif and set into a hand-fabricated silver mounting of exceptional artistry and craftsmanship. The elaborate and finely-done carving depicts winding vines, a cluster of buds and flowers in bloom throughout. Four silver prongs hold the jade carving securely in place. When you examine the ring in profile and from the back, the artistry of the silversmithing is masterful. Between each curved prong, you find a series of beautiful carved foliage have been cut and designed to hug the ring on both sides. Even the shank, which could not be simpler, has the most elegant curve where it tapers to to an open clasp so that the ring can be manually adjusted for size.
