This is a stunning hand painted porcelain tea caddy from the Capodimonte factory in Naples Italy. This tea caddy dates to the late 19th century. It is beautifully decorated in a Neo classical style with hand painted mythical images and figures in relief on the four panels with relief foliage of flowers and roses on the borders.
The lid is decorated with painted relief. It is marked on the base with the Capodimonte crowned N monogram.
It measures: 4.50 inches tall, 3.00 inches wide and 1.50 inch deep.
